  1. DX-Voicer program
  2. =================

  4. This program is designed as stand alone application for retrieving 
  5. DX-information from  Web Clusters like OH2BUA site,
  6. and making VOICE DX-announcement. 
  7.  
  8. DX-Voicer executes in background and does not require special skills from users.
  9. This program can be used as a gate to VHF band to inform about DX activities
  10. local "DX-hunters" as yet another packet DX Cluster alternative.
  11.  
  12. This program is successfully used on RW9OWD Club-station for setting up
  13. DX-beacon on local VHF net.

  18. - selecting favourite www-sites with according time periods
  19. - bands filtering on time basis
  20. - DX-countries filtering on  prefix basis
  21. - custom "footer"and "header" voice samples
  22. - supports internet connections via proxy-server
  23. - TX/RX commutation via serial port

  26. Hardware & software requirements:

  28. -IBM compartible computer (I386 and above)
  29. -Windows95 or Windows NT operation system
  30. -Sound Card installed
  31. -Internet access(online preferred)

  33. Installation:
  34. -------------
  35. 1.Expand files from archives in selected directory( eg. C:\VOICER)
  36. 2.Edit configuration file(voicer.cfg) by test editor and make changes
  37.   that conforms  your internet/common settings. 
  38.   (If your download voicecfg.exe you can use special configuration utility 
  39.   for this propose)
  40. 3.Run Voicer.exe
